Prize Fund

The Organizing Committee of M.A.Matrenin First International Contest of Folk Instruments Performers will award 3 prizes in each nomination (Domra, Balalaika, Accordion and Chromatic Accordion):

  • I prize: diploma and title of the First prize laureate, award of 3000 USD (equivalent);
  • II prize: diploma and title of the Second prize laureate, award of 2000 USD (equivalent);
  • III prize: diploma and title of the Third prize laureate, award of 1500 USD (equivalent);
  • IV prize: diploma and title of the Diploma winner;
  • V prize: diploma and title of the Diploma winner.

According to the results shown by the contestants the jury has right to award not all the prizes or to divide the prizes between the performers (except the First prize winner).

The two best performers of the third round of each nomination who have not passed to the final will be awarded with Certificate of Merit.

Jury has the right to award diplomas to the best accompanists of the Contest (not more than two diplomas in each nomination).

The Organizing Committee assumes the creation of special and additional prizes by state, commercial, public and creative organizations or individuals. These prizes should be approved by the Organizing Committee not later than 5 days before the beginning of the Contest.

The I, II, III Prize winners of all nominations have an opportunity to participate in concert engagement. In the list of the performances planned are concert halls in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Krasnoyarsk.
